BetterMail Anti-Spam Policy
At BetterMail, we do not promote or tolerate spam or spamming techniques.
What is spam?
Spam is unsolicited e-mail, also known as junk mail or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial
E-mail.) By sending e-mail to only those people who have requested it, you
are following accepted permission-based e-mail guidelines.
BetterMail is permission-based
BetterMail is a powerful permission-based e-mail marketing tool designed
to automatically follow up with parties that have requested information
from the sender. It is an opt-in system.
BetterMail automatically removes people from its database upon request
and will not send further messages to any party that has opted out of a mailing.
We monitor our accounts
BetterMail staff monitor the import of large lists and e-mails going to a
large number of subscribers. Any BetterMail customer that includes e-mail
addresses in their database without the knowledge of the e-mail address
owner, or sends e-mail to a subscriber without permission, is in violation
of their BetterMail user agreement. Their account will be revoked immediately.
How to report spam
If you have received an e-mail that you did not request, or suspect you have
been spammed by someone using BetterMail, please notify us immediately at
abuse@bettermail.ca. Please include a copy of the e-mail you received.
