A peer review assignment with 450+ students? Where a portion of the grade is determined by peers? Professor Lawrence Chen will share his thoughts on the pedagogy and logistics related to his experience implementing a peer review writing assignment, as well as his students’ thoughts on engaging in this peer review task.

Recognizing and Supporting Students At-Risk

In this workshop, facilitators will present information to help you identify evidence of mental health problems, primarily in graduate students, and to decide when and where to refer a student.

We will consider strategies for effective boundary setting and discuss the resulting mutual benefits for supervisors and supervisees. Each participant will be asked to discuss some hypothetical experiences during this workshop.

Digital Scholarship workshops

February - April
The McGill Digital Humanities Institute and the Library will be offering several workshops covering various digital scholarship approaches.  Each workshop will have a different focus to address different needs of faculty, researchers, clinician-scientists, post-doctoral scholars, and PhDs.
